Equal Opportunities, Diversity and Inclusion
The University is committed to the maintenance of high ethical standards in all aspects of its operation. The General Code of Ethics is established to serve as a set of guiding principles for the everyday conduct of all staff members of the University. It embodies the standards of ethical conduct which the University expects from its staff members in their behaviour, judgements and relationships with others.
The University is to nurture graduates who are dedicated to their academic and personal growth. Therefore, the Student Code of Conduct is formulated in order to:
(a) Ensure the presence of an ethical and honouring university community
(b) Protect the members of the community and its resources from harm
(c) Provide a guide to appropriate individual and group behaviour
All students are expected to observe the Student Code of Conduct which is set out in the Student Handbook administered by the Academic Registry.
